Apparently, this amazing news was meant to make this blog an android blog but guess what? Samsung isn’t the only smartphone company that is jumping to three camera-lenses innovation. But it’s very own competitor, Apple, is planning the same.
Believe it or not the innovations and expectations from smartphones have limited to ‘camera.’ And each and every big name in the smartphone industry right now is fighting for the crown by having bigger and better camera phones for its customers.
Now that we have reached an era of innovation, it’s easy to digest weird technological announcements by ruling tech-giants. So in order to keep up with the weird yet cool innovations. The smartphone geeks have brought a new trend into the market, the three-lensed camera smartphone!
Huawei had the triple-lens camera phone before it was cool:
Well, the subtitle might be a little too exaggerating but the point here is that before these two big names announced their upcoming plan, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has introduced their triple-lens camera phone into the mobile market.
And Huawei P20 triple-lens smartphone gave us a preview of what this innovation has for us. And trust me, it’s nothing but beauty with these three eyes.
But let’s get on to the real fighters
After Samsung, Apple is ready to adopt the idea of a triple-lens camera phone:
Where there’s Samsung, there is Apple. Where there is Galaxy, there is an iPhone and where there are android apps, there is an app store. Basically, you can’t ignore the other while talking about one.
Earlier the rumors were heard regarding Samsung’s approach towards the idea of triple-lens camera phone but now it’s pretty open that the tech-giant, Apple, has fully aimed to adopt the triple-lens camera setup for Apple devices.
So, without further ado it’s time to reveal the chosen devices from both the companies that are likely to have the triple-camera setup in the future :
While addressing the latest rumor in Tech-town, let me tell you that According to The Korea Herald. The upcoming expected iPhone X Plus and Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S10 would be featuring three camera lenses on the rear.
Rumors had it, people, rumors had it…
Triple lens camera and 3D setup are awaiting for smartphone lovers:
We are living in an era where innovation in smartphones is considered more appealing than innovation in real life. No to sound old, but smartphone lovers expect the unexpected from the company’s flagship phones.
To address the expectation of Samsung fans, here’s what the analysts have to say about the latest rumor:
Kim Dong-Won, an analyst from KB Securities predicted about Galaxy S10 that “Samsung, which has a lower-than-expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 lineup, will consider to equip its next premium phone with the triple cameras and a 3-D sensor to reinvigorate its smartphone business.”
And like I said, we simply can’t get away with informing you about one party. So here’s the analyst’s take on iPhone’s future approach:
For the iPhone X’s prediction, the report doesn’t give us much except for the statement, “One of Apple’s next premium smartphones, reportedly named as the iPhone X Plus, is also anticipated to come fitted with three camera lenses on the rear.”
So here’s a little information for our both kind of readers.
But the real queries, which are my personal queries, are yet to be discussed!
What will the triple-lens camera actually do?
While Huawei triple-lens camera set-up proved to quite amazing. It’s made up of a 40-megapixel sensor, a 20-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. All of which are used for different purposes. The 8-megapixel sensor, for example, is a telephoto lens, while the 20-megapixel sensor is a monochrome lens used to sharpen images and create more detailed photos.
So is it safe to expect the same kind of outcome from android and apple devices? Or it may be something more spectacular?
While I’m not such a smartphone geek but I have a keen interest in how the camera works on the smartphone I’m planning to buy.
So just to satisfy my inner curiosity, here’s what the triple-lens camera setup is expected to deliver:
The 3D sensing ability would immediately lend itself to augmented reality use. Apple is very interested in AR, and already has its ARKit software development package in circulation. The introduction of a 3D sensing camera on the back of a future iPhone would also mean the phone would benefit from two such systems, provided Apple didn’t replace the front-facing TrueDepth camera with something new. Outside of augmented reality, the sensors could provide additional camera-related features. Including a greater zoom mode and increased detail in photos.
So this might have produced great anticipation in you like it did for me, but we have nothing else to do but to wait for the tech-giants futuristic revelation.
