What if I tell you that you can buy all that iPhone has at less than half price of iPhone 8 in Pakistan.
Believe it or not, the Chinese smartphones manufacturing company launched your ‘next-door-iPhone’ but in a price that doesn’t require you to “sell your kidney”.
OPPO smartphone bigger, better and cheaper:
The Chinese company, Oppo, had successfully launched their first smartphone this year. And now it has introduced a replica of iPhone 8, Oppo A83.
By keeping the ritual of “selfie expert camera phone”, this smartphone too has the similar tagline in true Oppo fashion “Selfie Expert”.
Before getting to what more this new smartphone has, here’s a little ‘journey to reality’ for us Pakistani :
As soon as we hear the news about the launch of new iPhone, jokes and memes start pouring up on our newsfeed. Well, because most of us can’t afford that ridiculously-overpriced-yet-too-tempting-to-ignore smartphone so we try to laugh through the pain. No matter how much you try to pick out flaws in Apple’s flagship smartphones, deep-deep inside we all know we want it.
But worry no more my fellow Pakistanis, Oppo has heard our silent desires and the company is up with everything we ever wanted!
Oppo A83 has another feature which replica of the richest guy in town, iPhone X:
You heard it right, the Android smartphone is definitely not coming slow with its super-amazing features in Oppo A83. What makes this phone super cool aren’t its features, which we have already seen in iPhone 8 and iPhone X but what makes it special is its ability to provide us with the exact same features in such mind blowing pocket-friendly prices!
Well, I guess the heading must have created a little anticipation in readers as the priciest smartphone is mentioned, iPhone X.
We all know the amazing face unlock feature of iPhone X. Oppo being the robin hood for not-so-privileged smartphone lovers like me, has brought the same face unlocking feature along with 8 MP camera on the front.
Replica of iPhone X’s face unlock system is too amazing to ignore!
Unveiling the beauty:
Like I mentioned above, your next door iPhone is on its way and not only because of the camera and similar face unlocking system but also because of the looks.
Similar to Apple’s flagship smartphone iPhone 8 and recent smartphones in the market, The Chinese smartphone makers gave its new phone the similar look.
The design of Oppo A83 has a bezel-less display and a bar the name of the maker on the rear. The smartphone is quite a good-looking phone to the minimal bezels.
Here comes the features of Oppo A83:
Unlike the latest smartphones, Oppo A83 smartphone is a beauty with brains!
The aforementioned ritual tagline of Oppo is justifiable as this smartphone itself is a camera-centric phone.
Apart from face unlocking feature and 8MP front camera, this smartphone features a single-camera setup at the back with a 13 MP camera along with LED Flash.
They call it the best camera phone for a reason!
With the phone’s colors even you can’t distinguish between iPhone 8 and Oppo A83:
The smartphone giant wanted to perform its share of effort in fighting against the spread of HIV and AIDS in the world. For which the company had introduced its flagship smartphone iPhone 8 in red color.
“This special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone features a stunning red and black color combination and also offers customers the opportunity to make an impact in fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing.
Now that Oppo has officially made a replica of this smartphone, is it entertaining the color psychology of Apple as well?
Yes, like many features of iPhone 8, Oppo A83 is wearing its color as well.
The sleek smartphone comes in Red, Gold, and Black.
Even though the Oppo company hasn’t announced its motive behind the red color, like Apple did, but we believe that a red color smartphone itself is a stylish phone to carry.
Here’s more to give you the feel of iPhone user:

Let’s talk a little about the real matter- The Price:
We have been saying the Android smartphone as a replica of Apple’s smartphone in terms of specifications, features, display and even in color. But there’s one department where the smartphone couldn’t replicate, and honestly, we are glad it didn’t.
And that department is price department ( I know you guessed it all along so nevermind)
IPhone 8 made its way to Pakistan in September 2017 in rupees 80,4999. While it’s much lesser than the ridiculously overpriced iPhone X, it’s still twice as much as what Oppo charges for its Oppo A83.
The smartphone is priced out at Rs. 19,999 for the 3 GB version, while the 4 GB version will cost Rs. 29,899. 10,000 rupees for 4 GB version just to give you the feel of iPhone user.
